Lovely Original 19th Century Etching of A Game Shooting Scene
Depicts a man shooting his side by side with a picker up by his side holding a rabbit and his two dogs in a corn field watching the birds which I think are grouse as tails don’t look long enough to be pheasants and they look to large to be partridge. Don’t recognise the breed of dogs either which leads me to believe this etching might be older than 19th century
Due to its age it has a couple of marks on the etching and also a small scratch mark which I have shown in the photos.
It sits in a mahogany frame which measures approx 74cm x 51cm
