History:
Founded by William Moorcroft in 1913 in Stoke-on-Trent, England, after previously designing for James Macintyre & Co. since 1897.
Known for high-quality, hand-decorated earthenware.
Gained recognition early on, winning a gold medal at the St. Louis International Exhibition in 1904.
In 1928, Queen Mary appointed William Moorcroft as "Potter to the Queen".
The company continues to produce pottery today, maintaining its distinctive style.

Characterized by the tubelining technique, where the design is outlined with trailed slip before applying colors.
Colors are "washed" into the raw clay, making each piece unique.
