It’s an unsigned piece of artwork but it’s definitely by Rita Burns
Rita was born in London and attended part-time courses at St Martins School of Art in the early 1950's. She moved to Hertfordshire in 58 and qualified as a teacher of art at Balls Park College in 1972. She has taught in many comprehensive schools in Hertfordshire and it is the journeys to-and-from these schools which have given her inspiration. Exhibitions include RA Summer Exhibition 1980, 2004, 2005,2006, Print Exhibition Camden Institute 1981 etc
